Roger Jackson – Executive Chairman

Roger Jackson is a qualified geologist with more than 30 years of experience across mineral exploration, mine development and operations, mining services and the marketing of mineral concentrates.

He has founded and led a number of private and public mining and mining-services companies and has been involved in the development and recommissioning of several mining and mineral processing operations in Australia.

Roger has extensive experience in gold and base-metal exploration and development and has served as a Director of Ark Mines since 2010.

He holds a Science degree majoring in Geology and Geophysics, together with qualifications in Financial Management and Education, and is a Fellow or long-standing member of several leading Australian and international mining, geological and company director organisations.

Ben Emery – Managing Director & CEO

Ben Emery is Managing Director and CEO of Ark Mines and has extensive experience across mining, project development, commodity markets and corporate strategy.

He has been closely involved in advancing Ark’s Sandy Mitchell Rare Earths and Heavy Minerals Project through resource definition, government and industry engagement, project funding, metallurgical development and the project’s progression toward feasibility and development.

Mr Emery has held numerous board and executive positions and is also Chairman of Franklin Exchange Pty Ltd, a commodity trading business operating across international markets.

Thomas Patterson Non-Executive Director

Thomas Patterson is an experienced board adviser with a background in accounting, finance, taxation, corporate development, strategy, transactions and capital raisings across both private and public companies.

He previously served as a Non-Executive Director of ASX-listed technology company Acusensus Limited through its development and successful ASX listing.

Mr Patterson is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Corporate Finance from the University of Adelaide and a Master of Applied Taxation from UNSW. He has also worked as a Chartered Tax Adviser with Deloitte and Pitcher Partners.

Ian White – Chief Financial Officer & Company Secretary

Ian White is an experienced corporate executive and Fellow of CPA Australia with more than 40 years of business experience, including extensive work with ASX-listed companies in the resources sector.

He has significant expertise in financial reporting, corporate governance and company secretarial functions, and has supported Ark Mines since 2012. Ian was appointed Chief Financial Officer in 2023 and is also the Company Secretary.

He holds a Bachelor of Business, a Master of Business Administration and a Graduate Diploma in Company Secretarial Practice.
